I Slammed My Finger in a Door
It hurt like a mother fucker, it still hurts! Shortest Nibbler ever.
Welcome to The Nibbler by me, Jill Myer, a bi-weekly brief focusing on art, inspiration, creativity, snacks, and joy.
Good morning, Niblets,
Happy Tuesday!
My typing style now resembles a three-legged dog trying to pee uphill—it’s not pretty, it’s not stable, spell check has no idea what to do with me, and I also feel like I’ve probably got a little bit of pee in some unlikely places.
Please send tatter-tots and pears.
ON THE BLOG / VLOG
I’ve got fuck-all for you today.
For obvious finger-related reasons.
I mean, there are many juicy blog posts to choose from, and I recommend you dive in as time allows.
I actually have a blog post that is more than half-written, but finishing and editing it with only 9 functional digits while a giant basket of laundry stalks me and threatens to suffocate me in the night seems like too much to manage.
So you, my dearest Nibblers, are on the losing end of this finger debacle without a fresh blog post.
My deepest aged white cheddar dust-crusted apologies.
But fear not! I saved a TikTok video just for you because it made me giggle SO MUCH!! Obviously, I’m a Taurus, and obviously, this is what it’s like to go with me into a Costco. Heheheeee!
MY CURRENT FAVORITE SNACK
…is anything I can eat with one hand and doesn’t require a fork.
This snack is an odd one.
At first taste, it was okay—nothing to write home about or dedicate a newsletter to, but then the zing hit, and I wanted more, lots more. Then suddenly, the bag was gone.
TODAY I LEARNED…
(it’s good I wrote this part last week pre-finger smursh.)
…that I am obsessed with sunscreen.
After my ode to the Bask Invisible Gel sunscreen a few editions ago, a friend ordered us Korean rice-based sunscreen, and - It’s just as good! 🤩
It feels like silky smooth powder on the skin or almost like nothing after it dries.
I love it 10/10 and will buy it again!
SHOP
Shop update is LiVE!!
I can still pack and ship one and a half-handed!
