Happy Tuesday!
Good morning!
I hope today is kind and gentle to you and that there is sun where you are, or at least not torrential rain.
I'm officially done with rain.
Sunshine is my new crack cocaine.
I really need some right now!
What I actually need is to be in my encaustic studio, but as you know, it's in the garage, and for ventilation purposes, I work with all the doors open. While I can and have worked in there while it's raining, it's MUCH more pleasant to work there when the sun is out, the driveway is warm, and Roxy can snooze in her hammock.
I love it when she makes a little bouquet with her paws. It's just so stinking cute! 💐

ON THE BLOG
The post I am writing wouldn’t percolate, gel, fizz, or pop so I’m going to let it marinate on the back burner of my brain for a while longer.

MY CURRENT FAVORITE SNACK
I bought these little chocolates in a mild panic. I was going to the gallery and realized I didn’t have a sweet treat. And yes, I pack a small buffet for a six-hour gallery shift.
They are much better than expected. I’d buy them again!
Especially the crunch ones!

I got to go rollerskating the other night and I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!
I haven’t skated in more than NINE years and I forgot how much fun it is to go FAST!
Also, I’m WILDLY impressed with how much muscle memory I still have when it comes to skating.
For old times sake here I am in my prim roller skating days! (2012-2015).
Roller Derby was the most fun and the most afraid I’ve ever been at the same time.
IN MY STUDIO
Work in progress!
I got a solid two hours in my studio last week between rain storms.
It was one of those very specific Oregon days when the sun was shining, but it was also raining!
Classic Oregon Coast Bullshit, BUT it was nice enough to provide a few lovely hours in my studio, so color me grateful! And - I got a rainbow out of the deal as well.
